Jon's review this week is DUCK, DUCK, GOOSE by John Hare. A simple concept built on the foundation of a popular kids' game that uses minimal words to allow the fun, wacky illustrations to do the heavy lifting of storytelling. The rhymes are silly and simple, and also unassuming, keeping young readers engaged. Jon gives this title....ummm....5 'mooses on the looses' (is that right) out of 5!
